Chiang Mai, located 700 kilometers north of Bangkok, is the principal city in Northern Thailand and the second largest city in Thailand. Its wonderful location on the border of the Ping River, is surrounded by beautiful mountains, (including Doi Inthanon — Thailand’s highest peak), a National Park, jungles, waterfalls and rivers.
