Chiang Mai Weather

The weather in Chiang Mai Thailand is characterized by three seasons : hot, hotter and hottest.  The cool season, which lasts from November to February, is dominated by northeasterly winds. The hot season runs from March to May.  The hot season, which gets its name for a good reason, sees temperatures in Chiang Mai rise to as high as 40-42°C (104-108°F). However, in the evenings, breezes blow in from the nearby mountains, and these make the nights quite comfortable.
