• 11 AM : Arrive at th White Temple (Wat Rong Khun)(approx. 45 minutes)
• 12 PM: Eat lunch
• 1:30 PM : Visit the enchanting Blue Temple ( Wat Rong Sear Tean ) approx. 30 minutes)
• 2:30 PM : Explore the captivating Wat Huay Pla Kang (approx. 45 minutes)
• 3:30 PM : Depart Chiang Rai
• 7:30 PM : Return to your accommodation

Wat Rong Khun ( The White Temple)

Our first stop takes us to Wat Rong Khun, better known as the White Temple. As you approach this architectural marvel, you’ll be mesmerized by its immaculate white exterior and intricate carvings that symbolize the path to enlightenment. As you enter the temple, you’ll be mesmerized by the contemporary artwork that combines traditional Buddhist motifs with modern pop culture references. The mirrored walls and ornate details create an otherworldly atmosphere and make the White Temple a true masterpiece.

Wat Rong Suea Ten ( The Blue Temple)

Be enchanted as we head to the Blue Temple, Wat Rong Suea Ten. This relatively new temple complex in Chiang Rai is captivating with its bright blue exterior adorned with shimmering gold accents. Upon entering, you’re greeted by an imposing white Buddha statue that exudes tranquility. The walls are decorated with ornate murals depicting mythical creatures and celestial scenes, adding to the temple’s ethereal charm. The Blue Temple is an oasis of serenity, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling city.

Wat Huay Pla Kang : The Goddess of Mercy

Our final destination is Wat Huay Pla Kang, a temple that pays homage to the revered Goddess of Mercy, Guanyin. The 70 meter tall statue of Guanyin is a feast for the eyes. As you climb the spiral staircase inside the statue, you’ll be rewarded with a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. Inside the temple you’ll find ornate statues, colorful murals, and peaceful prayer halls that create a tranquil atmosphere conducive to thought and contemplation.
