Traditional Khantoke Dinner Experience

A traditional Lanna Khantoke Dinner and Cultural Show is a great way to spend a little quality time with your traveling partners. Food, fun and culture! Take in the wide array of music and colors of Thailand any night of the week with this nighttime tour.

Dancing and performance are highly regarded cultural works – this is especially true in Thailand, where these performances have changed little throughout long history. You’ll see routines that have been practiced for centuries in a beautiful location, surrounded by the inspiring music and delicious smells of Thailand.

You get picked up from your hotel at dinner time, and are whisked away to a traditional dinner and performance. The cultural show enthralls the audience with traditional dances:

Fon Lep
Dancers wear long brass fingernails and gracefully dance in pairs. Watch the colorful dance costumes sway to and fro in this unique Thai tradition.

Fon Thean
Candles light the way in this amazing performance. See the dancers move to the music, candlelight accentuating the steps, costumes and the faces of the performers.

Ram Dab
Dancers in bright costumes carry swords as they move to traditional Thai music. Don’t worry, there’s no dangerous sword play: the sword dance is beautiful and moving.

Dinner is served while you watch the performances, in a traditional Northern Thai style. You sit on the ground at low tables and enjoy delicious local Thai food. Eat, drink, enjoy the culture and spend time with your friends. Performances and dinner is over around 930, and you are delivered back to the hotel.

This is a great choice for an outing, especially if you’re traveling with your spouse! The setting is romantic and entertaining, and you’ll have plenty of time for drinks at the hotel bar afterward. Did I mention you’ll be eating some of the tastiest food in Thailand? All the flavors you find at home will pale in comparison after this dinner – but don’t let that stop you from taking this wonderful night trip!
