Overview

If you want to experience the natural beauty and Lanna culture of northern Thailand, this five days and four nights private tour will take you to the most unique sites and stunning attractions within the region. First, you’ll enjoy culturally rich activities in Chiang Mai before your English-speaking tour guide takes you on a scenic drive to Chiang Rai and its famous White Temple and Golden Triangle. Stroll through gorgeous flower gardens, rolling tea plantations,  and the whimsical food and handicraft walking street in the mountain town of Pai. Several breathtaking stops to viewpoints and a short temple hopping course make this tour complete before you return to Chiang Mai.

Day 1

• 9 AM : Meet in your hotel lobby
• 10 AM : Explore the mountainside temple complex of Wat Doi Suthep
• 12 PM : Eat lunch at a local restaurant
• 1:30 PM :Visit the important temple Wat Chedi Luang and the lively Warorot Market
• 5 PM : Check in at your hotel
• 7 PM : Enjoy a Khantoke dinner and dance show  
• 9:30 PM : Return to your accommodation at Chiang Mai

Day 2

• 7:30 AM : Meet in your hotel lobby
• 8:30 AM : Enjoy a short coffee break at a natural hot spring
• 10:30 AM : Explore the stunning White Temple
• 12:30 PM : Eat lunch at a local restaurant
• 2 PM : Visit the Golden Triangle with views of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar; boat trip on the Mekong River
• 4 M : Meet the people of the Akha and “Long Neck” Karen Hill Tribe Villages
• 5:30 PM : Visit the Blue Temple
• 6:30 PM : Enjoy a local Thai meal at a nearby restaurant
• 8 PM : Arrive at your accommodation at Chiang Rai

Day 3

• 8:30 AM : Meet in your hotel lobby
• 10 AM : Walk through the flower gardens at the Doi Tung Mae Fah Luang Garden
• 12 PM : Shop at the Thai-Burmese Mae Sai Border Market
• 1 PM : Eat lunch at a local restaurant
• 3 PM : Relax and sip tea at the Choui Fong Tea Plantation
• 5 PM : Depart from Chiang Rai; stop at a gas station along the way
• 7 PM : Enjoy a Thai dinner at a local restaurant
• 9:30 PM : Arrive at your accommodation at Chiang Mai

Day 4

• 7:30 AM : Meet in your hotel lobby
• 10:30 AM : Explore the ravines and walking trails at Pai Canyon
• 11:15 AM : Look over the Pai River at the Pai Memorial Bridge
• 12 PM : Enjoy scenic valley views at Pai Coffee in Love
• 1 PM : Eat a Thai lunch
• 2:30 PM : Visit Wat Nam Hu
• 3:30 PM : Arrive at your accommodation at Pai
• 6 PM : Watch the sunset at Mae Yen Temple
• 7 PM : Explore the handicraft shops and food stalls along the Pai Walking Street (dinner on your own)

Day 5

• 9 AM :Meet in your hotel lobby
• 9:30 AM : Sip green tea while admiring the Pai Yun Lai Viewpoint
• 9:30 AM : Learn about the Yunnan culture at the historical Santichon Chinese Village
• 10:30 AM : Depart from Pai
• 1:30 PM : Enjoy a scenic lunch at an orchid farm
• 3:30 PM : Arrive at your hotel at Chiang Mai or the Chiang Mai International Airport
