3 Days 2 Nights in Pai and Mae Hong Son

Overview

This three day and two night tour will take you to the most stunning sites in Mae Hong Son. This province, which is directly west of Chiang Mai, is best known for its culturally rich towns,  beautiful landscapes, and easygoing way of life. Your private guide will take you to see Thai-Burmese temples, several scenic viewpoints, and natural attractions such as a tea plantation, a mineral mud spa, and a cave. A trip to Mae Hong Son wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the laidback artsy town of Pai and a stroll down its famous walking street deep in the mountains.

Day 1

• 8 AM : Meet in your hotel lobby
• 11 AM : Explore the beautiful sites and natural landscape of the Pai Canyon
• 11:45 AM : Walk across the Pai Memorial Bridge
• 12:30 PM : Enjoy scenic views at Pai Coffee in Love
• 1:30 PM : Eat a Thai lunch at a nearby restaurant
• 2:30 PM : Transfer to Mae Hong Son Town
• 4:30 PM : Stroll around the temple complex of Wat Jong Kham
• 6 PM : Arrive at your accommodation at Mae Hong Son

Day 2

• 8 AM : Meet in your hotel lobby
• 8:15 AM : Visit the Burmese-style temple Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu
• 9 AM : Relax with a mineral mud treatment at the Phu Klon Mud Spa
• 11 AM : Explore the Ban Rak Thai Village and nearby tea plantation
• 1 PM : Eat lunch at a local restaurant
• 3 PM : See the unique cave fish at Tham Pla Cave
• 5 PM : Arrive at your accommodation at Pai

Day 3

• 8:30 AM : Meet in your hotel lobby
• 9 AM : Enjoy the views at the Pai Yun Lai Viewpoint
• 10 AM : Experience Yunnan history at the Santichon Chinese Village
• 11 AM : Visit Wat Nam Hu
• 12 PM : Eat lunch at a local Thai restaurant
• 1 PM : Depart Pai
• 4  PM : Arrive at your accommodation at Chiang Mai or the Chiang Mai International Airport

• A free pick-up and drop-off service is included within 6 kilometers of the city center
• Transportation via minibus with air conditioning and driver
