This 3-day trekking program is a long relaxing trip in the lush green forest taking you to discover the purity of the evergreen forest and offering you the warm welcome of Hmong and Karen people as well as impressive waterfalls.

Day 1
Starting the trip by taking private transportation to a Hmong village, there is a stop at a market for you to buy some food supplies or other necessities for this trip. Then, begin your first enjoyable trek, walking uphill for three hours through the verdant forest with the grand old trees and fresh air. A comfortable break and lunch will be at a breathtaking view point up to 2,300 meters from the sea level which almost reaches the highest peak of the mountain and offers a beautiful panoramic view of Doi Inthanon National Park. Lastly, it takes three hours to walk to the jungle camp nearby a river where dinner and accommodation are provided.

Day2
Begin a lovely day with breakfast and enjoy three hours walking through the peaceful jungle to a beautiful waterfall where you can enjoy swimming and lunch. Then, it takes two hours to walk to the home stay of a Karen Hill Tribe family where you will stay overnight and spend some time with the friendly local people in the village.

Day 3
After breakfast, enjoy the last day of two hours of trekking to another waterfall where you will enjoy swimming and lunch. The trek is continued by walking for 2 hours to a Shan village. You will return to Chiang Mai around 5.00 PM.

    Yes, you can trek during the rainy season! Make sure to bring rain gear.

  • it is really a trekking trip? Is there a lot of walking?

    Yes, this trip is really a trekking trip. We will walk about 5 - 6 hours per day.

  • Is it possible that you will keep our luggage during trekking (recovery at the end of the trekking)?

    Yes, it is possible. You can keep your luggage at our trekking operator partner office. Please inform our tour guide on date of tour.

  • Will we reach the highest peak of Doi Inthanon?

    No, we do not reach to the highest peak of Doi Inthanon, which is 2,565 meters above sea level. We will only be able to get about 2,300 meters above sea level on Doi Inthanon.

  • What is the overnight accommodation like?

    Accommodations are local bamboo cottages

  • What type of food is served on the trek?

    All of the food is local Thai cuisine, but we can make sure to provide vegetarian and halaal meals. Please let us know prior to your trip if you have special dietary requirements.

  • What are the overnight facilities during the trek?

    Our overnight stay will be at a local village, with use of a basic toilet. We will provide mattress, blanket, and pillow. The night will be spent in candlelight, near a wood fire for warmth and light.
