2 Days 1 Night in Pai

Overview

Visiting Chiang Mai wouldn’t be complete without taking a side trip to the mesmerizing town of Pai. This two day and one night tour will take you into Pai, Mae Hong Son to experience the best things to do within this quaint mountain town. Your English speaking private tour guide will take you to several stunning sites such as the Pai Canyon and two scenic viewpoints. Visit a Chinese cultural center, a famous bridge, and a temple that are rich in history. Enjoy eating and shopping your way through the famous Pai Walking Street before heading back to Chiang Mai.

Schedule

You will be picked up at your hotel or guesthouse at 8:00 AM and then driven northwest to Pai. You will return to Chiang Mai around 4:00 PM the next day. This tour is available daily.

Day 1

• 8:00 AM: Meet your guide and transfer to Pai
• 11:00 AM: Walk along the dirt paths and natural ridges of the Pai Canyon
• 11:45 AM: Cross the Pai Memorial Bridge and admire the Pai River
• 12:30 PM: Enjoy scenic valley views at Pai Coffee in Love
• 1:30 PM: Eat lunch at a local restaurant
• 3:00 PM: Check in at your hotel
• 6:00 PM: Watch the sunset at Mae Yen Temple
• 7:00 PM: Stroll down and shop at the Pai Walking Street

Day 2

• 8:30 AM: Meet your guide in the hotel lobby
• 9:00 AM: Enjoy tea and beautiful views at the Pai Yun Lai Viewpoint
• 10:00 AM: Explore a Yunnan cultural center called the Santichon Chinese Village
• 11:00 AM: Visit the lakeside Wat Nam Hu
• 12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at a Thai restaurant
• 1:00 PM: Depart from Pai
• 4:00 PM: Arrive at your hotel in Chiang Mai or the Chiang Mai International Airport

Please Note: Your guide will make sure that you spend as much time as possible at each activity. However, the schedule may vary depending on the weather, traffic, and other visitors. Therefore, there is no formal schedule aside from pickup and drop-off times.
