Overview

Muay Thai is one of the most difficult martial arts that requires a lot of skill and practice time. This is the national sport of Thailand which is different from international boxing. Muay Thai has an exquisite ritual before fighting known as Ram Wai Kru or boxing dance to allow boxers to stretch and prepare for combat as well as to pay respect to the teachers of Muay Thai.

For this program, seven main Muay Thai fights take place at the International Thapae Boxing Stadium in Chiang Mai city. This classic venue is where locals and tourists watch traditional Thai style boxing.

Please Note: No transportation is provided. If your hotel or guesthouse is not within walking distance of Thapae Boxing Stadium, you can ask your hotel or guesthouse to help you hail a tuk tuk or red taxi to take you to the stadium. After the fights, there are many tuk tuks or red taxis in front of the stadium to take you back to your hotel or guesthouse.
