About the Three Day Chiang Mai Hiking Tour

This three day two night trek in Mae Taeng combines several hikes interlaced with a series of jungle and water activities for a true taste of rural Thailand.

This tour will take you deep into the Thai jungle where you will see animals in their natural habitat. From butterflies fluttering around exotic flowers to powerful elephants wandering through the forest, seeing these creatures up close will be better than anything you’ve watched on National Geographic. You will also have the chance to see a community of hill tribe people and talk with your local Thai guide about what life is like in this part of the world.

Water lovers will be happy to learn that the Mae Taeng River flows through this region of Northern Thailand. One afternoon you’ll have a scenic lunch near a waterfall where you can listen to the sounds of nature and take a refreshing dip in the natural freshwater pool. Another afternoon you will go whitewater rafting and bamboo rafting and see the jungle from the river’s perspective.
