During this one-day trek, you will experience the beautiful natural landscape of Sanpatong in Mae Wang. You will go on a one-hour trek to a waterfall and have time to go swimming at the waterfall. Other activities include an elephant ride through the jungle and rafting along the Mae Wang river. This trek also includes a visit with the Hmong tribe or the Karen tribe.

Schedule

We pick you up at your hotel or guesthouse between 8AM to 8:30AM (approx.) and drive you to Mae Wang which is southwest of Chiang Mai city. After a full day of activities, you will return to Chiang Mai at about 5PM (approx.)

    A swimsuit (But please be aware that Thai culture is very modest and it would be best if bathing suits were not two piece or if a t-shirt is worn over a swimsuit)

    Yes, you can trek during the rainy season! Make sure to bring rain gear.

    You may get wet during the bamboo rafting portion

  • What kind of food will we eat?

    All of the food is local Thai cuisine, but we can make sure to provide vegetarian and halaal meals. Please let us know prior to your trip if you have special dietary requirements.

  • Is it possible to leave luggage in your office for the duration of the trip?

    Yes, it is possible. You can leave your luggage at our trekking operator partner office. Please inform our tour guide on date of tour.
