About the One Day Mae Taeng Jungle Trek in Chiang Mai

After a picturesque drive through the countryside of Northern Thailand, your full day trekking tour will begin with a walk around an orchid and butterfly farm that is home to many species unique to Thailand. Continue to an elephant camp in Mae Taeng where you can enjoy the thrill of feeding these gentle giants their favorite snacks or riding them while seated on a special chair.

After resting and eating a Thai lunch at a local restaurant, the schedule continues with a jungle trek. You can look forward to seeing various wildlife and plant species during the one to two-hour hike along the scenic nature trail. Afterwards, take an exciting whitewater rafting ride in the Mae Taeng River. This will be followed by a peaceful bamboo rafting ride along a smoother section of the river.
